Novel Muscat International LLC is developing a solar salt production project in Bantoot, near Duqm, leveraging Oman’s exceptional solar conditions and coastal geography. The project is planned across a total area of approximately 30 sq. km, with the first development phase covering 5 sq. km.
Using natural solar evaporation methods, the project will produce industrial-grade solar salt for local, regional, and export markets.
